With solo music being my first creative pursuit, I transitioned into film eager to learn every role in the production pipeline. Moving from sound, to lighting, to winning a Production Design award from UNCG’s Carmichael Studios Club for my directorial debut, I was still eager to be on the cutting edge. Taking up virtual production courses, I was the first student utilizing Unreal Engine to create a live digital background with the university’s new LED volume.
Following graduation I was mentored by Chad Nance during the production of Night Terrors: Blood Date on Trade Street where I was first camera assists. I later joined TEGNA as a broadcast operator for CBS and spent the next year preparing for my sophmore short film while volunteering for my old high school’s film club.
